On request the instrument can be mounted with a later setup with a different bridge and shorter string length, to fit wound strings. With this later mount, this instrument can be a good all-purpose viol, that can be used profitably by both professionals and amateurs.
Wood selection: back, ribs and neck in maple, top in italian spruce (bent), tailpiece, fingerboard, endpin and pegs in cherry tree, nut and saddle in jujube. Purfled fingerboard.
Finishing: amber in linenseed oil, antique finishing
String length: 73 cm, can be reduced for later setup with wound strings and later bridge
