Labeled Federico Lowenberger, 2013, is one of the last instruments my father made before he passed away.
It is based on the viol held at the Castello Sforzesco, so its body is smaller than the one held in Bochum.
Made in Pear Wood (neck, ribs and back). Soundboard in spruce, 5 pieces bent. Pegs: ebony, fingerboard and tailpiece: maple with ebony veneer.
